Fully fashioned means the panels are knitted to shape and the increases and decreases are visible as little marks along the seam lines — nothing is cut, so nothing frays and there is no cut edge inside the garment to rub. The neckband is knitted as a tube rather than folded and stitched, which is the only reliable way to stop a fine crew neck from rolling outward after ten washes. At 17.5 microns the yarn is fine enough to wear against skin without prickle; below about 19 microns is where that threshold sits for most people.
